Hall of Famer Rick Stetson and crew recently rolled “Suzy” his 1981 Suzuki GA1100 into the museum. The race winning and championship winning motorcycle is a custom creation of the Marlborough Massachusetts drag racer.

Paul Moroney was recently named 2023 volunteer of the year at the New England Racing Museum’s annual volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 21st. A plaque has been installed in the museum representing his likeness alongside the previous volunteer of the year recipients.

The annual New England Racers Reunion presented by Autopac Gallery is set to feature a variety of race cars and race motorcycles for outdoor display at the New England Racing Museum (922 NH Route 106, Loudon, NH) on Saturday May 4th.

At the museum's March 24th, 2024 board meeting Tom Crompton was voted in as the president of the New England Racing Museum. He attended his first auto race at age six and has been involved with the sport ever since.

The 2024 fundraising event season at the New England Racing Museum (922 NH Route 106N, Loudon, NH 03307) opens up with the 3rd Annual New England Racers Reunion: Race Car Show on Saturday May 4th. Each of the museums events are essential fundraisers to help meet financial obligations so we can continue our mission of New England motor racing discovery, preservation and education.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of former museum board member and New England drag racing pioneer Gil Coraine. Gil passionately served on the museum’s board of directors during the building capital campaign and construction phase of the museum and became the museums first general manager before declining health prohibited him to do so.

Jim Lowrey Jr was voted onto the board of directors at the December 2023 annual meeting. He is a lifetime member of the museum and has actively supported the museums car show events since their inception as an attendee and now sponsor.

Mabel Doyle was voted onto the board of directors at the December 2023 annual meeting. She has been a longtime dedicated volunteer at the museum since its opening in 2017.

Lloyd D. Hutchins, Jr., 86, of East Barre passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 3, 2024, at the UVM Medical Center.
