The Racing History Preservation Group board members Mark Hann, Paul Giblin, Al Novotnik and Skip Matczak recently attended the Frank Maratta Auto Show and Race-A-Rama in West Springfield, MA with a display for the North East Motor Sports Museum. The show offered something for everyone from custom cars and motorcycles to hot rods and race cars.

During this year's event, museum member Russ Truelove had his 1956 Mercury #226 race car on display and Russ was in attendance each day signing autographs and talking to race fans of all ages. Russ is best known for his racing on the beaches of Daytona and winning many track championships all over the Northeast area. All those that stopped by the display learned about museum and what the future plans are for preserving the history of racing in the Northeast area.

Look for the museum members and display during the upcoming race season at local race tracks all over the Northeast.
