The public and members got their first look at the museum from the inside at an Open House held on September 24. A variety of race cars and motorcycles were on site for the event. For the first time, members and fans toured the inside of the building where they saw the progress that’s been made. Just one year ago ground was broken on what was at the time a large gravel parking lot. Now, there’s a near 10,000-square foot building on the site. Water and electricity have been brought in, all of the sheet rock is installed, most of the heating and plumbing is in place. The opening of the facility is planned for the spring of 2017.
