MUSEUM HONORS LEGENDS
Drag racing legends Jimmy King, Al Segrini and Jack Doyle will be honored at the North East Motor Sports Museum (922 Rt106, Loudon, NH) on Saturday, September 29, beginning at noon.
Doyle (pictured) was the first general manager of New England Dragway. A builder, driver and promoter of the sport, Jack Doyle is considered a treasure of the sport. Al Segrini went on the road winning five NHRA national events in nitro funny cars. Jimmy King won top fuel and funny car events including the NHRA Gator Nationals in 1971.
You’ll hear from all three in what will proved to be a fun time for everyone in the museum. Tickets should be purchased in advance since last year’s Legends Day was a complete advance sale sell-out.
Tickets include lunch, autographs by the honorees and lively conversation about some of New England drag racing’s most exciting events and the personalities that ran them.
Order your tickets from the North East Motor Sports Museum, 922 Rt 106, Loudon, NH 03307 with your check or credit card information. $25 for museum members, $30 for non-members includes a tour of the museum.
Each driver will have a permanent ceiling banner unveiled at this event.
