2020 AMA Gypsy Tour Benefit Ride is On

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) sanctioned Gypsy Tour ride from Laconia Motorcycle Week Rally Headquarters located on Lakeshore Avenue in Weirs Beach to the FIM North America Vintage Road Race Championships at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) is a fundraiser for the North East Motor Sports Museum located just south of the Speedway at 922 NH Route 106 in Loudon, NH.

Registration for the Gypsy Tour will take place at the Laconia Motorcycle Week Rally Headquarters tent located at the north end of the Boardwalk on Lakeshore Avenue in Weirs Beach starting at 9:00am. We will depart Weirs Beach for NHMS in Loudon at approximately 10:30am. The Gypsy Tour will be a police escorted motorcycle ride from Rally Headquarters at Weirs Beach to the Speedway in Loudon.

Once we arrive at the Speedway, participants can purchase a 50% off admission ticket to the races and enjoy several escorted parade laps on the road course. The cost per rider is $10. Please note that helmets will be required for the escorted laps of the Road Course at NHMS.

Gypsy Tour participants will also receive VIP parking inside the Speedway and full access to the garages, grandstands and pits. This admission also gives you access to the North East Motor Sports Museum which will be open from 10am to 4pm the day of the ride. Just show your ticket/wrist band to the museum front desk and inform them you are a part of the Gypsy Tour Benefit ride for free entry. All proceeds from this Gypsy Tour ride will be donated to the North East Motor Sports Museum which is a registered 501-c-3 non-profit in NH.

Last year, AMA Laconia National top privateer rider from the 1970’s and noted Daytona 200 race announcer Richard Chambers led the Gypsy Tour parade laps on the track accompanied by the Harley and Indian tank shifter racers. The 2020 Grand Marshal Celebrity and tank shifters will lead the parade laps on the track again in 2020. We hope to see you at the boardwalk on August 23rd!
