The star of the 2022 annual Gypsy Tour motorcycle ride to benefit the New England Racing Museum was “Arrow” the dog. Owned by museum volunteer Dave Zwald, Arrow rode the entire distance in Dave’s motorcycle side car. Arrow wears special goggles to protect his eyes but when the speed goes over 35 MPH he ducks under the windshield as he watches the road but without the wind in his face. He enthusiastically met other riders and was a good dog the entire time.

Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome in the museum.

This year’s Gypsy Tour ride during NH Motorcycle Week began at the Weirs in Laconia. With two police officers on motorcycles leading the way and safely getting the long line of riders through intersections, it rolled through rural New Hampshire before ending up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. There, the riders took several paced laps of the road course.
