JEFF CALLEY AWARDED 3rd ANNUAL PARKER-CORAINE TROPHY WITH 1956 CHEVROLET NOMAD

Local show car owner Jeff Calley of Franklin, New Hampshire bested all other 255 show car and truck entrants to capture the 3rd Annual Parker-Coraine Best of Show Trophy at the museums 5th Annual Hot Rods, Muscle and More Car Show Fundraiser on August 19th. Among a diverse range of high quality cars and trucks, Calley’s immaculate 1956 Chevrolet Nomad was victorious.

Purchased in 2019, it was meticulously rotisserie restored over a two year period. The car features an updated power plant with a ZZ4 603 crate motor with aluminum heads and Borla 8 stack fuel injection. To complement the motor a custom dual exhaust was installed. A 4L60E overdrive transmission was added and is controlled by a Holley Terminator X computer system.

The beautiful car manoeuvers on top of a Roadster Shop Chassis which features an independent front end, power steering and coil over suspension. A spectacular eye catching custom paint job and German square weave carpeted interior equally match the cars performance enhancements.

We would like to congratulate Jeff on his win and also thank all the supporting sponsors, car owners, spectators and volunteers who chose to support the 2023 edition of Hot Rods, Muscle and More in support of the 501 c 3 New England Racing Museum. A special thanks to Shea Concrete Products for once again being the presenting sponsor for this year’s show. See you all next year for another great show!
