TOM CROMPTON NAMED 3rd PRESIDENT OF THE NEW ENGLAND RACING MUSEUM

At the museum's March 24th, 2024 board meeting Tom Crompton was voted in as the president of the New England Racing Museum. He attended his first auto race at age six and has been involved with the sport ever since. He started racing motocross in 1971 which led to motorcycle road racing across the Midwest and east coast. His professional career was in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries where he applied his considerable business skills and executive leadership with many companies. Today, Tom continues to race his vintage sprint cars with ACOT, vintage motorcycles with the USCRA and competes at the land speed events held annually by the Loring Timing Association. He also serves as a trustee for the ACOT Board of Directors.

As his energy, clear thinking and business acumen became increasingly obvious, he was invited to join our Board of Directors. Soon thereafter, he was urged to accept a Vice President’s role and then the Presidency. He’s a leader and a hard worker who gets along with everyone.
