Prominent motorsports personalities have come together to create a Museum that will capture and preserve the history of motorsports in the North East with a focus on New England. The Museum will be built at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway as a joint project between the track’s owner, Speedway Motorsports, and the Racing History Preservation Group which seeks to create and operate the Museum.The Museum will include race cars; artifacts such as helmets, trophies, uniforms and motorsports signage; a library with photography, books and magazines; and a theatre which will run continuous footage of vintage North East racing.
