The AMA sanctioned Gypsy Tour group is a motorcycle ride from Laconia Motorcycle Week Rally Headquarters on Lakeshore Avenue in the Wiers to the FIM North America Vintage Road Race Championships at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

We are pleased to announce that on June 11th from 10am to 1pm the Yankee Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America will have ten to twenty 35+ year old motorcycles on display in the museums front parking lot. The outdoor motorcycle display can be viewed at no charge. The museum will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm, $10 for adults and kids under 12 are free.

Sandy MacPherson was named 2021 volunteer of the year during the rescheduled yearly volunteer appreciation dinner at the museum on May 21st. Sandy has been volunteering her time at the museum before we even opened to the public in June of 2017.

On Saturday afternoon, May 21, volunteers gathered for an annual thank-you dinner at the North East Motor Sports Museum.

The AMA sanctioned Gypsy Tour from Laconia Motorcycle Week Rally Headquarters on Lakeshore Avenue in the Wiers to the FIM North America Vintage Road Race Championships at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a fund raiser for the North East Motor Sports Museum south of the Speedway.

Thank you to the race car owners, exhibitors, volunteers and race fans who joined us for the New England Racers Reunion All Race Car Show Fundraiser! Also a special thank you goes out to event sponsor John Wall of Wall's Ford for his continued support.

The event will feature a variety of vintage and modern race cars for outdoor display at the museum. All types of race cars from any year are welcome to display. Racing clubs participating include the Senior Tour Auto Racers, Atlantic Coast Old Timers, New England Antique Racers and Wicked Good Vintage Racing. Cars on display will roar to life with a start your engines command at noon.

The Stanley Museum of Kingfield Maine will be apart of the 2022 New England Racers Reunion event. Bill Cooke and Sarah Moon will be bringing a fully operational 1912 Model 74 Stanley Steamer passenger car. Learn about the start up and operational process of these amazing automobiles and you can even climb aboard and take a ride!

The New England Racers Reunion will feature a variety of vintage and modern race cars for outdoor display at the museum on Saturday April 16th. In addition the event will showcase five exhibits from New England racing museums. These exhibits will display unique auto racing memorabilia and artifacts from around the region. All types of race cars from any year are welcome to display and local tracks and sanctions are encouraged to attend to promote your upcoming season’s races.

The 2022 outdoor events schedule at the North East Motor Sports Museum kicks off with the inaugural New England Racers Reunion: All Eras Race Car Show on Saturday April 16th. Each of the museums events are essential fundraisers to help meet financial obligations so we can continue our mission of New England motor racing preservation, education and inspiration.
